1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Name and email address (at checkout or quiz completion)
- WhatsApp phone number (if you opt in to coaching)
- Quiz responses (smoking history, habits, triggers, lifestyle)
- Payment information (processed by our payment provider — we do not store card details)
Information collected automatically:
- IP address and approximate location (for currency and language localization)
- Browser type and device information
- Pages visited and time spent on site
- Facebook Pixel data (ad performance tracking)
- Google Analytics data (site usage patterns)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to generate your personalized quit smoking plan, deliver daily coaching messages via email and/or WhatsApp, process your payment and manage your subscription, improve our AI models and coaching content, communicate service updates and relevant offers, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Ever.
3. WhatsApp Messaging
If you opt in to WhatsApp coaching, your phone number is shared with our WhatsApp Business API provider solely for the purpose of delivering coaching messages. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
Messages are sent by an AI coaching agent. As required by Meta's platform policies, we disclose that you are interacting with an AI, not a human coach.
4. Data Sharing
We share your data only with our payment processor for secure checkout and billing, our WhatsApp Business API provider for message delivery (opt-in only), our email service provider for coaching email delivery, Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel for anonymous usage analytics, and AI infrastructure providers to generate your personalized plan (data is not used to train third-party models).
All third-party providers are bound by data processing agreements and are prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"), object to or restrict processing of your data, and data portability.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at: privacy@quitly.com
EU/UK users: These rights are provided under GDPR and UK GDPR respectively. California users: These rights are provided under CCPA.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies for analytics and advertising. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect site functionality.
8. Children's Privacy
Quitly is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
9. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including SSL encryption, secure payment processing via our payment provider, and access controls on our systems. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or website notice. Continued use of Quitly after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
